Shrimp Investigation Quarterly Report - January 1, 1951 to March 31, 1951

The current shrimp investigation was initiated November 26, 1950. The latter part of the fourth quarter of the year 1950 was largely spent in organizing equipment and making preliminary collections. Systematic collections were attempted during the first quarterly period of the current year. Breakage of gear early in this period, however, demonstrated the inadvisability of attempting collections during the inclement winter weather characteristic of the greater part of this quarter.
