Abstract
This article presents the methods and results from a study which used aerial photographs and Geographical Information Systems to examine the temporal change in sea grass cover in a subtropical estuary in Tampa Bay, Florida. Although individual sea grass species were not able to be identified, this method was determined to be a useful management tool in monitoring overall losses, gains, and distribution.
