Abstract
Regression equations were developed between total weight (W) and carapace width (C) of blue crabs, Callinectes sapidus, taken from Galveston Bay, Tex. Male crabs (Log W = -3.74149 + 2.77478 Log C) were significantly heavier than females (Log W = 3.54147 + 2.63954 Log C) for a given carapace width.
