Development of a wasteload adjustment formula for the Houston ship channel

This report presents the results of water quality studies on the upper Houston Ship Channel (HSC) and major tributaries. These studies include analyses of existing data, and numerical model analyses using the Texas Water Commission's (TWC) model, QUAL- TX. These studies are designed to document the effects on dissolved oxygen (DO) levels which occur with higher flows and lower temperatures than are used during the wasteload evaluation process.
