Abstract
A creel survey of sport fishermen in the Sabine Lake, Matagorda and Corpus Christi Bays and Lower Laguna Madre was conducted from September 1975 through August 1976 as the second segment of a two year project entitled Survey of Finfish Harvest in Texas Bays. Estimates of catches were derived from interviews of sports fishermen in each bay system at boat ramps, wade-bank areas and lighted piers. Estimates of fishing pressure were obtained from counts of boat trailers at boat ramps and of all fishermen observed utilizing accessible fishing areas.
