Abstract

Houston Lighting & Power Company (HL&P) instituted an in-house study of revolving screen impingement at the P.H. Robinson Generating Station near Bacliff, Texas, in order to fulfill requirements of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. The program began on 11 April 1978 and continued through 29 March 1979, with samples being collected every two weeks during this period. Environmental Protection department personnel of HL&P performed impingement sampling, identification, data analysis and reporting on all samples collected.
