Abstract
A comprehensive inflow/exchange survey of the Galveston Bay system was conducted in July 19-23, 1976 through a coordinated effort of the Texas Water Development Board, U.S. Geological Survey, and Espey, Huston, and Assoc., Inc. Supportive studies were conducted concurrently by the Texas Water Quality Board and Trinity River Authority. The cooperative study included Galveston, Trinty, East, and West Bays, and was designed to collect a comprehensive data set to delineate the hydrodynamic and chemical characteristics of the estuarine complex. The purpose of this report is to present the data collected by Espey, Huston, and Assoc., Inc.
