Final report on the seasonal abundance and distribution of marine fishes at a hot-water discharge in Galveston Bay, Tex.

During January 1968-December 1969, standard biological and hydrological samples were taken in and around the mouth of the thermal effluent from the P.H. Robinson Generating Station, Bacliff, Texas. The purpose of that study was to determine the species of commercially important crustaceans and fishes present in the study area, their patterns of seasonal abundance and distribution, and the effects of the thermal effluent on these species in as much as could be determined from field data. This final report presents a list of fishes and numbers of each collected and a summary of seasonal abundance and distributional patterns for some abundant species.
