Abstract

The purpose of the present work is to describe the distribution of certain microfossils in cores from the Trinity River Delta. The principal investigation concerns the Foraminifera studied by Wantland in the modern sediments of Trinity Bay. In addition to the Foraminifera, the Thecamoebina, Ostracoda, diatoms, micromolluscs, and charophyte cogonia found in the cores are also described.
