West Galveston Island Greenprint for Growth

Conservation visioning ("greenprinting") study, commissioned by the City of Galveston, to help identify targets for land conservation and hence to guide future urban development of West Galveston Island land, Recommended strategies include: mitigating coastal hazards, working with developers and landowners, landscaping to conserve and protect water quality, and creating a trail system, as well as providing incentives and creating/pursuing funding.
