Abstract

During periods of reduced supplies of motor gasoline, inadequate volumes may exist for emergency evacuation depending upon the magnitude of the shortfall and local supply situations. To insure the flexibility needed to provide a quick and proper response to Gulf storms, the following procedures are provided for the emergency allocation of motor gasoline, during supply shortfalls, into areas forecast to be impacted by tropical storms of sufficient magnitude to require emergency relocation of citizens.
