Draft Outline for the National Fisheries Plan

This document is an interim outline of a proposed National Fisheries Plan. It identifies a number of major fisheries issues and suggests options for resolving the associated problems. It is intended as a discussion paper to develop public views further on these issues and to provide the Government with a better understanding of these views. It will also provide a basis for States, industry, universities, recreational and environmental groups, and others to contribute to the ideas which go into developing and writing the final draft plan
