Abstract

The performing party will produce a State of the Bay Characterization Report of the Galveston Bay Ecosystem that is an update to the original produced in 1984. The contractor will incorporate the latest data for up to date status and trends for the bay by working with the Status and Trends Project Contractor and will include success stories from plan implementation projects, pictures, tables, photographs, illustrations and figures to describe the bay. Successes: The project provides an update to the original State of the Bay: a Characterization of the Galveston Bay Ecosystem, to describe Galveston Bay, the health of the ecosystem and the existing pressures. The report suggest that the Galveston Bay Ecosystem is holding its own under increasing demographic pressures.
