Approximate water-level changes in wells completed in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers, 1977-91 and 1990-91, and measured compaction, 1973-90, in the Houston-Galveston region, Texas

This report consists of two data sheets, four maps, 36 cm X 45 cm, with latitude 30 00'N - 29 00'N and longitude 96 00'W - 95 45'W, and one map, 13 cm X 20 cm, with the same latitude and longitude. The first four maps present data on water-level changes during 1977-91 and 1990-91 in 305 wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers in the Houston-Galveston, Texas region. The data sheets concern measured compaction at 11 well sites from 1973-90. The fifth map identifies locations of borehole extensometers. A brief geohydrological description is also included on the first map.
