Abstract

The purpose of this manual is to describe the various coastal wetland regulatory programs of four federal agencies and three state agencies: the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), the U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), the Texas General Land Office (GLO), the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), and the Texas Water Commission (TWC). Regulatory programs discussed in this manual include relevant laws, rules or regulations, policies, memorandums of agreement, and executive order.
