Abstract
Heightened interest in offshore oil exploration and development on the Outer Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico has generated the need for current and expanded information on the area. Volume I is an upgraded and updated annotated bibliography on environmental processes and conditions in the Gulf of Mexico. Volume II identifies research and studies in progress. Volume III is a socio-economic inventory and analysis of the study area.
