Abstract

The purpose of this manual is to describe the various coastal wetland regulatory programs of four federal agencies and three state agencies: the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the United States Army Corps of Engineers (COE), the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), the United States National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), the Texas General Land Office (GLO), the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and the Texas Water Commission (TWC). Regulatory programs discussed in this manual include relevant laws, rules or regulations, policies, memorandums of agreement, executive orders, etc.
