Abstract
The Texas Water Development Board and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board have requested the United States Department of Agriculture to participate in a cooperative Type IV study of the Texas coastal basins. After the study began the Interagency Council on Natural Resources and the Environment and the Texas Water Rights Commission became cooperating agencies. The objective of the study is to determine water and related land resource projects and programs for solving problems and meeting needs of the area.
