US-based Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP has started-up its new Ryton(R) polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) compounding facility located near the Houston Ship Channel. The facility will produce 6.8 million kg (15 million pounds) per year of Ryton compounds for North and South American customers.This is a short news story only.
