Abstract

Twenty-three scientists and thirty-one graduate student assistants team up for two years to answer a question long debated by ecologists but never before as definitively studied by scientists: What effect if any does long-term offshore oil exploration and production have on the marine environment? This article is written with the study approximately 90 percent complete.
