Reestablishment of Bottomland Hardwood Forests on Disturbed Sites: An Annotated Bibliography

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service prepared this bibliography to assist those interested in the reestablishment and restoration of bottomland hardwood forests on previously disturbed sites such as abandoned farm land or surface mined areas. Emphasis of the bibliography is on the Southeastern United States, although entries from other parts of the country are included whenever the authors believed these entries provided useful information. Annotated entries focus on applied restoration of bottomland hardwood ecosystems and how to papers conserning silvicultural practices.
