Abstract

The pectoral limb of the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus), is best described as a formal terrestrial limb that has since adapted to an aquatic existence. Four systems muscular, nervous, vasculature and skeletal, which make up the limb were examined.
