Abstract

A bioeconomic model of the brown shrimp (Penaeus aztecus) fishery in Galveston Bay, Texas [USA] and adjacent offshore waters accurately predicts the general trends in the seasonality of shrimp harvest and the distribution of the harvest in relation to size of shrimp and water depth.
