Wetlands Determination Study Chocolate Bayou Property

Amoco Chemical Company (Amoco) has plans for the expansion of their Chocolate Bayou Plant located near Alvin, Texas (Figure 1). Being aware that further development of this facility could be affected by the presence of wetlands at the site, Amoco enlisted the services of Pilko & Associates, Inc., in association with S.A. Damico & Associates, Inc., to perform a Wetlands Determination Survey of the Chocolate Bayou propoerty. The purpose of the survey was to provide an inventory of possible jurisdictional wetlands to allow Amoco to facot these resources into their long range planning process. This report presents the results of that survey along with supporting data and field observations records.
