Abstract
Mottled ducks were studied in Chambers and Liberty counties, Texas. A total of 26 nests were located and followed throughout the nesting season. Only seven of the nests were successfully hatched. The exclusion of grazing livestock from March through June and a predator study are recommended management measures.
