Synergy in a townhouse complex: A Dallas townhouse complex

Abstract

My 'thesis project' focuses on the concept of synergy as it relates to architecture; and the role that regionalism plays on architecture this particular area. My 'thesis vehicle' is a "townhouse complex" located in Oak Cliff, Texas, just five minutes south of downtown Dallas. The site will contain eighteen residences, between two- and three-stories, with an average square footage of 1535 square feet. Each residence will have special extras of its own; a two-car garage, study, large deck, and two large bedrooms. 1 feel this is a very appropriate project for this site. From my investigations, a townhouse complex of good quality will not only clean up the neighborhood firom a rundown site, but it will increase the respectability and raise the property value of community residences.
