Abstract

This is a performance analysis of the instructors and students who were enrolled in College Algebra, Math 1320, during the Fall semester of 1991 at Texas Tech University. A data set which contained each student's section number, gender, race, college, grade, and score on the final examination, was manipulated and analyzed by using SAS procedures. The output was in forms of means, bar charts, and histograms. From these outputs conclusions were made about the performances of the students and the instructors of Math 1320.
