My dear Sir
I have just read the writing in pencil which tells me that a number of an American newspaper “The Nation” which came to me the other day, was sent by you. I am much obliged to you for it, and if it is convenient to you to send me from time to time, as you propose, the paper, I shall be glad to see it.
