Islamic center at Arlington, Texas

My thesis statement is to combine modern technology and functional forms in the context of Islamic culture and value. The design is to harmonize with the context of the surrounding architecture; and at the same time, it blends with the spirit of Islam; so that, the facility will not be an alien in the western environment and architecture. The facility will cater for Muslims away from their Islamic countries, Muslims who are American citizens,and also for those who are interested about the spirit of Islam, its cultures and the many customs of the people of Islam.
