Title: Machiavellianism, sex, type of situation and conflict strategies
Author: Chen, Hwei-jung
Abstract: It seems inevitable that people will occasionally experience conflict with others in their daily lives . Either for maintaining good relationships with others , or with the desire to exert strong control over the environment and others , a person learns how to gain compliance from others and how to manage conflict . Different people may use different ways to resolve problems . The underlying reason might be the individual's learned characteristics . People with more aggressive personalities may be more active than less aggressive individuals in the conflict situation .
