Through the use of figuratism I will define the iconic and typological elements that should be present within a hospice . Through this research , development , and design , I will explore what role architecture can play in an environment in which the physical qualities can almost not help but become subordinate to the emotional , intellectual and spiritual quialities present within it . I also hope to discover /uncover what iconic elements and typologies should be inherent of the subsequent culture and environment to which it becomes an integral part of , and what figurative qualities should transcend those regional restraints and can and should be present for this facility anywhere . |
