Description
The purpose of this report is to identify the potential for using the Big Reef area as a long-term source of sand for renourishing the beaches along the Galveston Seawall. This report will evaluate the quality and quantity of the material at Big Reef with regard to its use as a beach nourishment source. It will also investigate various alternatives which could be used to transport the material from Big Reef to the beach in front of the seawall and lay out the steps required for such a project.
