Texas Coastal Management Program Annual Report 1999

This report provides a broad overview of the accomplishments made during the last year. Chapter 1 provides a brief discussion of the principal uses of and demands on Texas coastal resources. Chapter 2 discusses the development of the Coastal Erosion Planning and Response Program and the progress made in addressing coastal erosion. Chapter 3 describes the Council's initiatives to protect and improve water quality. Chapter 4 outlines current measures being undertaken to streamline government. Chapter 5 provides a general overview of and summarizes recent changes made the CMP grants program. Chapter 6 discusses the future direction of the Council.
