Abstract

The study will be conducted in three stages: preliminary examination, alternative development, and study recommendations. Each stage undertaken results in the preparation of a study document: in the Plan of Study (POS), study alternatives, and the final report. This document serves as the Plan of Study. It outlines the study objective, addresses methods of public participation in the planning process delineates the study area, and describes the available data. It further relates the study objective with existing water resource projects and planning efforts. Estimates of time and cost required to perform the study and a schedule of major milestones in study acomplishments are provided. In short, the plan of study serves as the primary management tool and informative aid for the conduct of the study.
