Abstract
From a historian's viewpoint, this is a documentation of human activity over a period of 14,000 years. Information was used from newspapers, interviews, books and memories. Starting with the formation of the ecosystem in the Galveston Bay dating up to the 1880s this report covers all the way in to the 1990s where it discusses the commercial and sport fishing and wildlife areas of the Bay.
