Abstract

The Texas Water Resources Institute was especially pleased to organize the 23rd Water for Texas Conference in Lubbock dealing with non-point source pollution....The goal of this Conference was to discuss current assessments of non-point source pollution in Texas and to identify best management practices that can be utilized in both urban and rural areas to prevent water quality degradation. Local, state, and national speakers presented up to the minute results of studies to define problems and implement solutions. We hope the information in this Proceedings will be useful in combating non-point source pollution wherever it exists.
