This book is a collection of papers from a workshop concerning coastal hypoxia. This workshop was held in Baton Rouge, La in March of 1998. The book is organized into six major sections and a summary. The first section covers plankton, section two covers physiology and behavior, section three covers benthos, section four covers fish and fisheries, section five covers food webs and ecosystems, and section six covers perspectives. The summary is written by the editors of the compilation.
