Water use efficiency.

The focus of this paper is to identify areas within agricultural irrigation, municipal and industrial use where recent innovations have demonstrated that research has the potential for making significant contributions to the future reconciliation of water demands and supplies. In addition, this paper will lay the groundwork for identifying additional research opportunities. Potential areas for research include agricultural use, irrigation and water management; ornamental and landscape use; impaired water utilization; municipal water conservation and conjunctive use.
