Abstract
Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority was created to undertake the task of abating and controlling water pollution in the Galveston Bay Area by developing an effective management system. It is their aim, specifically, to preserve and maintain the waters of Harris, Chambers, and Galveston counties so that the quality is consistant with favorable standards of public health, conducive to economic prosperity, and enhances recreational activity
