Abstract
This technical paper describes the ecological systems diagram modeling procedures and concept. A comprehensive ecological description is included for several coastal ecosystems, including treatments of important subsystems, primary components, and major pathways of each ecosystem. In addition, this technical paper provides a summation of the most sensitive or critical ecosystem components at the conclusion of each ecosystem narrative.
