dc.description.abstractChristmas Bay and Armand Bayou have recently been inducted into a Texas Coastal Preserve Program. Under this program the wetlands will be protected and a management plan is required to stabilize the diminishing amount of wetland area. The surrounding community, the species of wildlife and plants, and the water of each wetland is discussed. Also, representatives from different agencies discuss the effects of industry and development in the area.en_US
