Abstract
Wastewater from oil refinery is processed through a system of separators, aeration lagoons and oxidation ponds. Treatment facilities and monitoring systems are described. Effluent discharged into the Houston Ship Channel meets or surpasses standards set by the Texas Water Quality Board.
