Abstract
To determine the approximate density and distribution of osprey in Texas, 3,620 questionnaires were mailed to observers throughout the state. A total of 345 osprey sighting were reported for the period of May 1, 1974 to August 31, 1975. Some deviation of sightings and monthly totals. No osprey nests were located during this segment.
