A partial bibliography of oysters, with annotations.

Abstract

Emphasizing commercial oysters, this indexed bibliography also includes many references to other commercial bivalves. It presents 4,117 references of which 45% are annotated. It is intended to update the monumental bibliography of J.L. Baughman (Texas A&M Res. Found., 1948) and contains many references not included in that work. This bibliography is most complete through mid-1969, but also includes some later publications.
