Inventory of migrant species.

State biologists assisted U.S. Fish and Wildlife personnel in conducting the annual January midwinter inventory along the entire Texas Gulf Coast in 1972. Estimates of species numbers and locations of concentrations were recorded on tape from aircraft. Aerial transects were flown over inland coastal areas from Corpus Christi to Port Arthur. All coastal bays and the inland areas from Corpus Christi to Brownsville were flown by the cruise method.
